About the Role

The ideal candidate will be an expat with experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the mining. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members.

Responsibilities:

• Manage operations of mining.
• High level experience in mining engineering and other mining machineries.
• Fluent English is essential.
• Preparing reporting, modeling, guiding and managing the department.
• Deadline, project and goal orientated mindset.
• Strategic, hands on as well as quick thinking.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mining engineering.
• Minimum 20 years experience in a mining environment exposed to project-based management.
• Relevant degree and experience in various countries into Africa.
• Management of various divisions such as, HSE, HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Fleet and Clearing 
• Ensure ISO standards are maintained at all times.
• Strong operational experience, leadership as well as leader.
• Computer literacy is essential

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary up to $200K.
• 3% yearly increments (depending on the performance review).
• Generous equity as part of the package.
